3 Important Steps Of My Morning Routine - Tea & Curls
“Every morning you have two choices; radiate positive energy or radiate opposite to that. Choice is yours.” ― Amit Ray, Beautify your Breath - Beautify your Life

Mornings can be a nightmare for many people. Mornings were my own nightmare a few years ago but that has been gradually changing as I create new patterns in my life. My body and mind are so used to get up early now that I don’t mind it at all – as long as I’ve slept for at least 6 hours – and mornings end up being one of the most important and enjoyable parts of my day as I’ve settled a routine for myself.

Almost three weeks ago I uploaded a post about 3 big mistakes on my morning routine but we have to be positive on every occasion of my life so I started thinking “what do I do right on my morning routine?” and today is the day to share with you 3 important steps of my morning routine so that my day can run smoothly.

Skincare straight away
We all know that during the night our skin cells go into regeneration mode but the end result of it is that I always wake up with my face covered in some oiliness crap that most people call sebum. To make me feel fresh and more awake – ready to start my day – I head to the bathroom the minute I wake up and wash my face with a washing gel and tons of water. I do this every morning and I never skip this step. It makes me feel better and takes care of my skin.

Breakfast everyday
I cannot leave the house without having breakfast no matter how late I might be. I might not do my hair or makeup and I might not look fashionable for the day but I always have breakfast. This is something I got used to doing since I was very little and my brain can’t fully work until I have some food in my stomach. These last few weeks I’ve been having yoghurt with homemade granola and some berries on top – quick, easy and tasty.

Making my bed
Once I’m done with breakfast I go back to my room and make my bad. This is a fairly recent habit for me but that I’ve noticed to make a huge difference on the environment of my room. I never used to make my bed until probably six months ago and what happened was that I’d jump into bed again and I’d lay in there not being productive at all. When I’d finally sit at my desk, my room would feel unorganised and chaotic so I wasn't feeling as motivated and productive. Make your bed and don’t even dare sitting your ass in there!
