It is clear that our habits make us who we are so good habits will make us better people. Sometimes it’s hard to build a habit especially when you’re too into the ones you already have but the key is motivation and will. 

When putting this post together I focused on the things I already do on a regular basis that I think are positive but most of all I thought about the things I’d like to turn into a habit myself. There’s always improvements that can be made and tomorrow can always be a better place than today.


  1. Get up right when you wake up 
  2. Take the stairs 
  3. Drink 1,5 to 2 liters of water everyday 
  4. Read something in paper regularly, i.e.: a book 
  5. Get out of the house everyday even for 5 minutes 
  6. Plan your days and weeks 
  7. Allow yourself to not follow the plan every now and then 
  8. Have free makeup days every week 
  9. Always remove your makeup 
  10. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night 
  11. Do something for someone 
  12. Worry less about the future and enjoy the present moment
  13. Take care of your hands and feet 
  14. Express gratitude 
  15. Moisturize your body 
  16. Turn off your phone at night 
  17. Do something spontaneous every week 
  18. Make time to relax 
  19. Disconnect from social media and TV every day for a few hours 
  20. Speak to your parents regularly 
  21. And thank them for everything they’ve ever done for you 
  22. Make your bed every morning 
  23. Reduce the amount of junk food 
  24. Put your clothes away once you take them off 
  25. Let your friends and family know how special they are 
  26. Have a hobby that inspires you and make time for it
  27. Cook more often 
  28. Print your favorite photographs
  29. Write a postcard to people you love
  30. Say what you think and filter what you say
